How does Xero Standout?

It is a very well designed user-experience. It appears simple yet it has all of the features any small business is likely to need. Xero also has great native integrations with all of the relevant plug-ins you are likely to need.

“Xero is the easiest to use accounting software I have encountered. I used to spend 12 hours a week completing our accounts, now I just need to spend one morning. It’s also great that every one of our employees has their own payroll portal, which means I know get asked a lot less questions. But probably the best thing about Xero is that I feel confident using the system.”

Where does Xero Fall Short?

The only thing we could spot, is that amending historic orders and/or creating back orders can be more time consuming as Xero has a different approach to this when compared with other systems.

“It’s great software, but I find it frustrating that there is no way to complete backorders on the system. I think if you’re experienced at accounting this is probably not a problem, but Xero need to provide more guidance to those of us that are not.”

Recommended Pricing Option

If you are a startup, we recommend choosing Starter if you  only need to send five or less invoices per month. Thereafter we recommend that you choose the price package, which matches your payroll requirements. Xero also has higher priced packages for businesses with more employees, which you can review here.
